My Wife's Opinion

Tracy and I have finished our run/walk and are walking East along the Katy Trail, about to turn left towards home, in our town of 200.

Tracy: Well, here's Lewis street. That's the name of our puppy.

Me: Yup. And it's how I remember to get back to our house. I remember that our house is between Lewis Street and Clark Street. Then I remember that the streets are named running East from the center of town -- Lewis, then Clark -- so if I'm walking away from town, then I should turn at Lewis, but if I'm walking into town, then I should turn at Clark.

Tracy stares at me.

Tracy: That's just sad. You were on Jeopardy. It's just sad.

Apparently, she can just remember where the house is.

From Christmas

This is what my Mom did to be sure I knew I wasn't getting eight frozen Italian entrees to celebrate the birth of our Lord.

New Year, New Blog . . . Yeah, That's About Right

Okay, I have enjoyed That's My Minute, and I think it is helping me do something interesting. But, I still find myself wanting to express myself in text in longer chunks. And to be a little more political, on occasion. So, as a companion to That's My Minute, this is That's My Text.
